Bangkok Trip 9th August 2009 - 12th August 2009

Suvarnabhumi Airport upon reaching.


Stayed at Grand Diamond Hotel, next to Platinum Mall for the first time.
Was below my expectations even thou the fact that many Singaporeans stays at this hotel during their Bangkok trip.
Felt kinda disappointed. Will try other hotels when I'm back in Bangkok again the next time round :)


And they are so far, the only country I've seen a PINK taxi going around.


Ate KFC for the 1st meal of the trip, recommended by Dale and the others.
Well, Not bad, but spicy! Bangkok's KFC has this special dish of Thai Chicken rice on their menu and it taste quite different.
Should give it a try e next time round when you go on a holiday in Bangkok.

How FAR would you go?

Well, since young, I wasn’t a girl with any much obese or weight problems. As u can see in the pictures below, I’m just a simple girl. Perhaps a little bit chubby but just enough to keep myself warm, hehe.

All along, things were kinda fine until secondary school days especially Secondary 2!

That was when I became a tad too lazy. Gained a little bit more than the average puberty growth. It was a “dark period” in Secondary 2.

When I became very obedient and will go back home straight after school every single day. But that was also the period when I turned to FOOD! Hahahs.

My sweet tooth acted up and cravings for sweetened confectioneries heightened!

Kit Kat White was my Favourite during those days.

Remembered there was also once when Elise got plagued with the craze too (hiak hiak, of cause it's by me) and went down to the 7-11 store around the corner to get Kit Kat White at 3am in the morning. Ending up in hospital after that trip from a Car Accident was something we never thought would happen.

And then you realised, that was HOW MUCH we fell in love with that innocent looking yet ultra SINFUL Kit Kat White! Ok, we aren’t that crazy about it anymore now!

I never worried about being into TAF club because I was sure that I’m tall enough. My BMI was always in the safe green zone.

But still, I wasn’t satisfied with my body proportions!

My arms, tummy and thighs were too big! I never did like it at all!

That was when I felt that I need to get rid of my fats!

I’ve tried acupuncture slimming, eating pills and stuffs. Weight loss was only seen after the first few months but it didn’t maintain much. My weight stopped decreasing after a while and the whole routine bores me.

In the end, I managed to lose my weight much by a change of daily routines and eating habits, okay perhaps with additional stress.

Losing weight was one issue, keeping my body firm and fit was another issue.

And then again for the past 1 year, with all the temptations of FOOOOOOD and Delicacies around me,

I gained weight AGAIN!

That is certainly what a girl would not want!

Studies are done on 10 women between the ages of 20 – 50.

University of Milan

3 groups of 7 patients were chosen and treatment was done in 3 different cities Milan, Lecco and Bergamo in the period between February and June 2005.

Tronchanteric areas were done at 70% of power available on the mach

ine. For every 3 treatments for each patient blood and urine parameters was detected before, after 4 hours and after 48 hours.

Treatment was done for duration of 45 minutes on 400 cm2 area at 7 days time interval between the two treatments.

In All the three groups in the above picture it can be seen that the High density Lipoprotein level (HDL), has been increased after 48hrs of the treatment. The level of the low density lipoprotein (LDL) has been reduced, and the total cholesterol level is reduced. Total triglyceride level after 48hrs of treatment reaches normal value.
