Bangkok Trip 9th August 2009 - 12th August 2009

A picture speaks a thousand words.



Suvarnabhumi Airport upon reaching.


Stayed at Grand Diamond Hotel, next to Platinum Mall for the first time.
Was below my expectations even thou the fact that many Singaporeans stays at this hotel during their Bangkok trip.
Felt kinda disappointed. Will try other hotels when I'm back in Bangkok again the next time round :)


And they are so far, the only country I've seen a PINK taxi going around.


Ate KFC for the 1st meal of the trip, recommended by Dale and the others.
Well, Not bad, but spicy! Bangkok's KFC has this special dish of Thai Chicken rice on their menu and it taste quite different.
Should give it a try e next time round when you go on a holiday in Bangkok.

I've always loved this kind of decor. Super nice!


The Pets Section,
They were all so cute that I wanted to bring all of them back so badly but I can't!

A shrine infront of Centralworld where people pray for love.


Beautifully organized Yogurt Ice-creams. I don't even bear to order because I'm afraid the staffs will destroy it while scooping for me!


At the Supermarket in Siam Paragon after dinner.
They have a massive collections of liquors! and prices are DAMN LOW!

Platinum Mall, a Shoppers's paradise.
Gotta be good at bargaining because the things are getting more and more expensive!

Finally found the Banana Prata man after so many attempts!
Loves the prata! Bangkok's prata is SUPERB!



Last night of e trip, went Yaowarat with Vic and we had a great seafood dinner! followed up with sharkfin soup.

it was totally awesome!
